What installation day actually looks like

Knowing the shape of the day removes most of the stress. Here is the sequence in a typical house.
We install luxury vinyl plank and carpet across Northeast Ohio, including Wadsworth.
Morning: protection and tear-out
The crew protects the path from the door to the work area, then the old floor comes up. This is the loudest, dustiest part of the project and it usually happens first so the rest of the day is calmer.
Midday: prep
Subfloor gets cleaned, fastened, and where necessary leveled. If something unexpected is under there, this is when you hear about it, in person, before anything else proceeds.
Afternoon: layout and install
Layout is decided before the first board goes down: direction, starting wall, and how the pattern lands at the most visible sightline. Then installation moves quickly.
End of the day: transitions and cleanup
Transitions, quarter round, and trim finish the room. Cleanup and haul-away happen when they are listed in the written estimate, so the space is usable rather than a staging area.
Living around it
Plan for the work area to be off limits during the day. Pets do best somewhere else in the house or out of it entirely, both for their nerves and for the crew's safety.
