A phone number is a guess
Without seeing the rooms, nobody can tell you what your floor costs. A number given over the phone has to move once someone actually looks, and that is where surprises come from.
The written estimate
One written price, given in your home before we leave. Here is every line it already covers, so there is nothing to add later.
Samples in your own lighting, next to your cabinets and paint, and a walk of every room in the project. No trip to a showroom and no charge for the visit.
Every room, closet, transition, and angled wall measured in person. Measuring on site is what keeps the number from changing later.
Beds, dressers, couches, chairs, and tables out of the work area and back when the floor is finished. Not billed separately.
Your old flooring comes up and leaves with us. You are not left with a pile in the driveway.
What the subfloor needs to take the new floor correctly is identified at the estimate and written into the price, not discovered on install day.
The pieces where the new floor meets a doorway, a different surface, or the wall are part of the job, not an add-on line.
Installed by our crew to the manufacturer's specification for the product you picked.
We leave the house livable at the end of every working day, and we walk the finished floor with you before we go.
Our Lifetime Installation Warranty is included on the work we install. It is stated in your agreement, not implied.
Everything above is itemized on the written estimate you receive in your home. Anything outside the written scope needs your written approval before we do it. Backed by our Lifetime Installation Warranty.
WHY WE MEASURE IN PERSON
Without seeing the rooms, nobody can tell you what your floor costs. A number given over the phone has to move once someone actually looks, and that is where surprises come from.
What is under your current floor, how flat it is, and how it was fastened all change the work. That can only be seen in person.
Closets, thresholds, stair edges, and angled walls change both the material and the labor. Measuring them is the only way to price them.
Color reads differently in a showroom than it does in your living room at four in the afternoon. We bring the samples to you so you choose once.
The visit is free and there is no obligation. See what to expect on install day or how paying over time works.
